| Position one handle of the rings at a distance where you can just about grab it while laying flat on the ground on your back. | |
| Grab the handle with your right hand lower than your left on the ring. Explosively pull up bringing your left shoulder over to the ring. | |
| Right as you get to the peak, twist back and lower yourself carefully not to land on your back. Repeat and then perform on other side. | |
| Stay loose until you explosively pull yourself up. Keep your arms close to you. Imagine as though you are performing an elbow strike when you come up. |
