Baby Ledge Pull Ups Jonas is a 9-10 month old who can do ledge pull ups. Aside from the fact that doing pull ups at this age is very impressive, the video demonstrates one of the functional applications of a "Tactical Grip" pull up (in this case, it's to see a cartoon :) Rather than a standard Pull Up on a bar which utilizes all your fingers and your thumb, Tactical Grip Pull Ups require additional finger strength which makes them more difficult and more functional. There are no conveniently placed bars when you're trying to climb up a wall, pull yourself onto your roof, or avoid missing your favorite cartoon.
