Sincere Hogan, one of the premiere unconventional trainers in the industry, has recently released the Ultimate Bodyweight Conditioning for Strength & Fat Loss DVD. The DVD features a variety of new bodyweight exercises, as well as a different take on some old favorites. Shot at one of Sincere's many workshops, the DVD shows a variety of demonstrators learning the exercises while Sincere instructs and corrects form.

The DVD starts with a complete joint mobility warm up before delving into the twelve exercise instructionals featured in the program. Sincere does an excellent job explaining exactly how to instruct basic exercises like the squat and push up before going into the more advanced movements. Trainers watching the DVD will get some excellent verbal cues for ensuring that their clients are performing exercises safely and correctly to achieve the maximum benefit from each repetition. I especially liked his squat tutorial for ensuring proper form with low squats. In it, he suggests a "corkscrewing" of the heels to open the hips and provide for deeper squats with perfect form. Sincere also identifies common mistakes and solutions for each exercise; very helpful if you're a trainer looking to add the new exercises to your clients' workout programs.
The new exercises are dynamic and fun, involving full body movements requiring strength, power, and flexibility. They also feature interesting names that are both memorable and indicative of the movements involved, including the Chimp Walk, Attacking Primate, Sabertooth Crawl, Donkey Kick, and Fence Jumpers to name a few. Some of the exercises appear simple, but have direct applications for users. One of the exercises called "Jinga," looks like a dance move and allows trainees to practice proper weight distribution while changing direction. Sincere uses it as an active recovery exercise during the DVD.

If you enjoy outdoor workouts, many of Sincere's exercises are perfect for grass fields and group classes. The Attacking Primate is an explosive movement that includes a deep squat, a leap forward, and a whole-body, midair extension that will leave you (and your boot campers) gasping for air in short order. I had the opportunity to test a few of the exercises with some of my clients and they had a great time trying them out. I couldn't use all the exercises with all my clients because some of the more advanced moves require minimum levels of strength and flexibility, as well as very healthy joints (I wouldn't teach the "Attacking Primate" to anyone with knee or ankle issues).
Overall, I'd say that the Ultimate Bodyweight Conditioning for Strength & Fat Loss DVD is an excellent buy if you're looking for some dynamic new bodyweight exercises to add to your (or your clients') workout regimen. Get your copy today at UlimateBodyweightDVD.com!
